On September 17, 2024, the tour was held for the press and other media at the Sumitomo Pavilion, currently under construction for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, followed by a briefing.

The site tour and briefing were attended by 37 journalists and other media representatives from 24 organization, mostly from Osaka and the Kansai region.
Mr. Kuniharu Nakamura, Chairman of the Sumitomo EXPO2025 Promotion Committee, and Mr. Hirofumi Saijo, Secretary-General of the Sumitomo EXPO2025 Promotion Committee, made a presentation on the Sumitomo Pavilion, including the progress of construction, and revealed more about the contents of the exhibition.
