Sumitomo EXPO2025 Promotion Committee members visit the Sumitomo Pavilion site | Sumitomo Pavilion Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan

On July 11, 2024, the Sumitomo EXPO2025 Promotion Committee members visited the construction site of the Sumitomo Pavilion.

The committee members had a look around the full-scale mockup of the wooden roof, which is such a notable feature of the Sumitomo Pavilion, at Sumitomo Warehouse (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) where it is being fabricated and tested. In Yumeshima, construction work of the Sumitomo Pavilion is making good progress and on schedule for completion by the end of December 2024, with percentage of completion at about 60% (as of July 11, 2024). Representatives of Sumitomo Yuhoen Villa, Sumitomo Historical Archives, and Sen-oku Hakukokan Museum also took part in this visit.
