At the event, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition gave an update on preparations for the Expo, including an overview of the Expo and its highlights. The Sumitomo EXPO2025 Promotion Committee Secretariat explained the significance of Sumitomo Group’s participation in the Expo, while also presenting the exterior design of the Sumitomo Pavilion whose distinctively shaped roof is inspired by the silhouette of the mountain range in Besshi, Shikoku.

When the official character MYAKU-MYAKU appeared on the scene, excitement rippled through the audience. The event was webcast live throughout the two companies to amplify the Expo’s powerful appeal to their employees.
