The EXPO School Caravan is an initiative led by the Secretariat of the Headquarters for the World Expo, Cabinet Secretariat. It aims to use Expo 2025 as an opportunity for children and students across Japan to envision the society of the future and consider how their actions can help shape it for the greater good.

The presentation was delivered to 255 eighth graders. As an official exhibitor, the Sumitomo EXPO2025 Promotion Committee provided an overview of Expo 2025, explained the significance and purpose of Sumitomo’s participation, and introduced key features of the Sumitomo Pavilion.

In the class, the students learned that the Sumitomo Pavilion was built using timber from the Sumitomo Forest, a natural resource revitalized by Sumitomo Group, with no wood wasted.
