Sumitomo’s Connection with Expos
Sumitomo Electric
Tabisuke TV™, a video streaming service operated by Tokyo Travel Partners Co., Ltd., will bring from the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan to audiences with online pavilion tours. Sumitomo Electric has developed the app and system which powers these virtual experiences.
This initiative is being carried out as part of the LET'S EXPO (https://www.lets-expo.jp) project operated by Sumitomo Electric, Tokyo Travel Partners, and Kansai Innovation Center (MUIC Kansai).
As part of the LET'S EXPO project, a survey was conducted on the willingness of elderly individuals with physical disabilities to attend Expo 2025. The results were striking: while 86.4% expressed a desire to go to the Expo, a staggering 98.1% believed they would be unable to do so due to physical or financial barriers.

To those who wish to experience the Expo but find it difficult to attend in person, Tabisuke TV™ provides a solution, offering an opportunity to participate through an online tour experience.
Tabisuke TV™ is an interactive travel experience service themed around “travel and wellness,” accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Viewers can engage with hosts in real time using chat features and participate in quizzes during live broadcasts. Throughout the Expo period, live streams will feature at least nine pavilions, including the Sumitomo Pavilion.
